For barbers
Your work is the advert.
Post the cut. Someone watches it, taps the price, and books your chair. No DMs asking if you are free, no screenshots of your story, nobody ringing the shop while you are mid-fade.
20p a booking plus card fees. No monthly fee, no commission, no tie-in.
Your chair is as full as your last post. Which is a strange way to run a business.
A feed you do not control decides who sees your work, and the people who do see it still have to message you to find out whether you are free. Every step between the cut and the booking is somewhere to lose them.
What you get
A chair people can find.
Straight off your clips
Every clip carries the service and the price. The person watching books that, at that price, into your diary — without leaving the video.
Your clients are yours
Your profile follows you. Change shops and your work, your following and your regulars come with you, because they followed you and not the room.
A day in someone else’s chair counts
Tag the shop you are guesting at and the clip shows on their page too, marked as a guest. Their audience sees your work; the booking still comes to you.
Nobody can buy their way above you
There is no promoted slot and no ad inventory. The order is distance and the work, which means a good new barber is findable in their first week.
A page that search engines can read
Your shop’s page, your clips and your prices are plain HTML on barburs.com, not a screen inside an app. Somebody searching your area can land on it without installing anything.
What it costs
20pper booking, plus the card fee Stripe charges
- No monthly fee. A quiet week costs you nothing at all.
- No commission. A £35 fade earns us 20p, not £3.50.
- Nothing to post. Clips are free, however many you put up.
- No tie-in. Stop whenever. Your profile and your work stay yours.
- Card fees are Stripe's, not ours. They go straight to Stripe at their published rate; we take nothing on top.
The 20p is taken from the booking itself, so there is never an invoice to pay. Stripe takes its own fee from the same payment.
Start with one clip.
Put up a cut you are proud of, set a price against it, and see whether it books. That is the whole test.
